Comments (28)I just came in from a walk-around the property. There are daffodils in the orchard about 4" up out of the ground! Also discovered that a large part of an old apple tree split at the trunk at ground level where three or four trunks had formed over the years. It fell but didn’t land on any other shrubs or trees that I can tell right now. No way will I be able to cut it up with my little reciprocal saw, will have to call in the pros and have them cut and take everything away. It always bloomed so pretty in the Spring. Comments (38)I guess this is representative of why I bought our home and makes me smile? It has many original features and had a nice warmth to it. I had to track down this toilet and sink and the legs (there was a plain white toilet before and cheap particle board vanity that was water damaged). I got lucky there was the original tile under the vanity. I need to finish decorating and puting up my hall mack accessories in here. There is still a long way to go, lots of undoing remuddling around the house, and work in the other bathrooms and kitchen (they need full renos because of the layouts)....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - W 1/10/24

This is an old picture... Sandia Peak Tram near Albuquerque. I think it hailed while we were up at the top.
6 years agoSince I am not a fan of heights, the only photo I have up in the air is me trying to conquer my fear by ziplining 10 years ago.
6 years agoPalm Springs Tram, which reaches a height of 8,516 feet, not as high as Sandia Peak Tram, but higher than the Juneau tram.

On the Island of Madeira, there is a cable car that goes from the main city, Funchal, up the side of the island to a suburb named Monte.
From there you can either take the cable car back down, or if you are adventurous you can take this sled and ride down the steep streets most of the way to the original starting point.

6 years agoI still am surprised how much we love this guy. He must have had his first birthday sometime last month. Gone from a little four-pounder to a 10.5 pounder.
He flies back to FL with us 3 weeks from today.
