It's a Tudor with a turret. It's always going to be a Tudor with a turret. Do not paint the stone. This below is the whitest color scheme I have seen for a Tudor. I would definitely keep the black windows. They are perfect with your house. I would keep your color current scheme and invest is some complementary landscaping like you see below. Your lot is really lacking & 86 the globe balls lamp post. The property could look much better with landscape lighting.

The stone is not actual stone, it is likely a veneer. But, it is high quality with the look and feel of stone. Urban Puddy is very close to your inspiration photo. The trim would be done in Elephant Ear. Do you think those colors are simple enough? I am definitely looking for a more classic look.

you already have the dark windows, so that's good. do a medium gray roof. that color will go w/everything. Do you like dark? if you did the dark siding and added some wood composite siding, it could look a bit more modern. I notice you have some cedar up under the roof eaves. that would be cool if you could do it elsewhere on the home. similar home style with a darker green siding and the brick lighter gray (btw, these all have the stairs like you have. check out some of the landscaping around them wood doors, and all the siding running the same way.
