How about instead of moving the door. Leave the door in the middle and run the sinks down the wall you show now(against the walk in closet) You have plenty of room to split them up so they are not on top of each other. When you move the door to the side you loose the ability in the bedroom to use that corner. Then you could still put a privacy wall up and put a bigger wall storage unit on the exterior wall (bottom right). You know I looked at it again and I will tell you your big wow is going to be looking in and seeing that huge shower and all the glass and tile. The drawback of that wall is going to be it's going to break up the space. I just tore a wall out in my room like that and I am so happy I did. First I was going to make it a kneewall then I said "get rid of it!" It opened up the whole space. How about change the swing of the door put toilet in upper right with solid wall when you walk in and then a door that opens into the toilet space. IOW if you were sitting on the toilet you would be looking out the window. Sinks along the bottom wall with a floor to ceiling storage in lower right. That keeps all your visual blocks close to where you enter the space. and leaves the deep end of the bathroom looking open and spacious.

kyshine3, we did consider a heated floor under the tile but decided against it for cost and labor reasons. We use rugs by the vanity and toilet/tub area and use a bathmat by the shower so we rarely step on the tile in bare feet. It would have been nice though! Thanks for the compliments. gooster, the toilet by the window was a topic of much conversation at our house! Glad to be rid of that set up!

pps7, I'm sorry I didn't see your post in April. :( Thank you for your comments! labocki, the master is real marble called Gioia and I bought it from DalTile. I was originally going to do a patterned floor and subway in the shower, too! Then I saw the marble and decided to use it everywhere. I thought a 'tile rug' with patterned tile in the middle of the floor would be the star of that bathroom until I realized I would probably have a real rug covering that cold marble tile floor and it would cover any tile rug so I just did 100% 12x12 polished marble everywhere. That was a short story made long :) but I wanted to tell you I had your vision also (Mrs. Limestone-ish). Having said all that, I would be very happy with the Carrera Star on all of the surfaces in the master. The shower floor can be your basketweave. Or maybe the shower floor plus a row on the wall similar to the bubbles in our hall bathroom. The faucets in the master were bought at Home Depot about 10 yrs ago and I think they are Delta. I did see similar faucets in either HD or Lowes. Good luck! maggie200, thank you! Personally, I would not use vessel sinks now and glass block would depend on how you are using it. i'm not quite 100% done, but my bathroom is finally usable!! we got the tub in last weekend and had a few leaky episodes before we figured out that i had missed one of the cpvc fittings when i glued everything together between the hot/cold valves & the spout. fortunately it was an easy fix, and i have been enjoying my new tub since then :) i got a euro type of vanity because of how tight the toilet area is already. never would pass code here because of how close it is to the tub deck, but it wasn't within code to begin with, and once i get an ada toilet it won't be a big deal, at least for me. i would have moved it over a bit, but there is a joist right there so we would have had to go way far or deal with changing the joists - neither was appealing. still looking for a good shower curtain, but in the mean time i'm using a cheap stall liner. also decided to leave the area to the left of the sink undone - i'm not sure what to do with it, so i'm going to live in the room for a while & see what it would be best as. the med cabinet looks a bit off center - just how the stud cavity fell - but it works well with the mirror inside the door, and i think once i figure out all of the rest of that corner, it will look more balanced here are a few pics - please ignore the unfinished details :) lisa from the doorway to the left the shower & ikea storage tower the tub
