Paint Exterior Design Dilemma

Paint Color for Striking Front Door

I would like to paint my front door a striking color for nice curb appeal. My house is a cream color with chocolate brown trim. Do you have suggestions on a color for me and should I paint the back door and the shed door also so they are all the same?

Resurrecting an old thread - I have been considering painting the door trim the same color as the door. I was happy to see this post that said it was stunning - but I can't find any pictures of this at all (other than some wood doors that have wood trim). I think it is a personal decision. I would paint the screen door the same color as the solid door.

Snap a photo on a sunny day then use the Sherwin Williams ColorSnap app to play with the colors. I would select a tone slightly darker than your mortar for the garage door and a color slightly darker than your darkest brick for the front door. I would then on the garage door install magnetic faux hinges and windows; this will add detail to the door, like the below house. I know they can be found on Amazon, not sure where else. I would paint only the front door -- you want to welcome visitors, not give them a maze of possible entries.

With these starting colors, you can go any direction you want! Red, pink, blue, green, chartreuse... Look at some photos and see what appeals to you!

I agree that they are a mixture because the new bay windows are white and the old ones are brown. Should I change them all to brown color?

I had been think g a brick color or a rust. But would a red be the better choice if going in that color group.

Red, blue, or deep green for the front door only. Paint the other doors the same brown as your house trim. Not sure why some of your windows have brown trim and others have white? I would trim them all in the brown color so they are consistent.
