Best.Show.Ever. I bought the whole series on DVD. My dh loved it too and I'd always call Jonathan R.M. "King Hotness" and dh would just laugh. lol. Moon, I was hoping they'd go through the Kings and Queens after Henry died, but no such luck. Have you seen the movie "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" with Cate Blanchett? It's great, especially on a good TV when they attack the Spanish Armada. There are some great books on Henry's son, cousin (the 11 day Queen, a teenager who was beheaded when she didn't even want to rule!..., and his two sisters who became Queens also.

Based in truth trial shows. I would say it probably beats watching the Casey Anthony trial live all day. I watched for a little while yesterday. I recorded and skipped all the side bars and commercial breaks and recesses and the weird twiddle-lings of defense and prosecution on their electronic devices. Really at this point I haven't seen any thing to make me believe beyond a shadow of a doubt Casey killed her daughter. It was boring beyond belief. If I were a juror I would be tossed off for falling asleep! Good gracious even the judge was yawning. The many videos of Casey shopping, each one had to have a stipulations statement read by the judge that the objections were noted and about them being a true and accurate record of the business. Judge Blevins said bidness (yes bidness, not business) so many times I wanted to put duct tape across his mouth. LIL

I should add that the viewer needs to ignore some implausible failures by the 'good guys' to perform obvious functions. These leave holes for the KGB spies, letting the plot run on. Now I'm waiting for the most recent DVD of "The Americans" to pop up at our library. (Similar 'infiltration' theme.)

Like these little roses in the series and was thinking of trying to find them for my front yard. Unfortunately it is even hard to find a picture of them online, much less an name. I have attached a link to someone who got a half decent screen capture: North and South Rose Any ideas?
