Exterior Color Update in Navy! From Boring & Dated to Fresh & Modern

Some before and afters of our biggest project yet....painting the house!
I tried to fit in the neighborhood and go with a neutral...but nothing looked right. Turns out the house wanted to be navy and once I put up the blue swatches there was no going back. The house suddenly feels more modern, updated, young and fresh. Gone is the old dry looking, yellowish stucco with the gray parging that we never liked. She looks taller, more stately and grand in her new blue...shes no plain Jane any more. This color is just happier! We have a new gable vent to replace the old rotted one on the way, but I didn't want to wait to get these pics done while the weather was decent.

We've still got a few projects outside we were hoping to have done that got pushed into next year- due to this years monsoon summer...including a new, bigger front deck that will be more appropriate to the house, a new side door to the garage, painting the garage door a brighter white, and the entire front yard landscaping. (Expect to see more rock out front!)

House color is Benjamin Moore Van Deusen Blue

Front door color is (Canadian Brand) Beauti-Tone Yellow Trumpet

You can see more of the many renos we've done on this house in my profile.
