I agree you should wait until the more difficult items like decorative lighting is chosen. Don’t worry about matching pulls to your SS sink and appliances. Go to showrooms that have pulls on display, and also look at lots of Houzz photos to see which ones appeal.

I would try to find pulls that that do not have a lot of nooks and crannies cause they are hard to clean in the kitchen. Size-wise, a rough rule of thumb is that a pull should be 1/3 the width of a drawer. It is helpful to make aluminum foil templates in the sizes of the pulls you are considering and hold them up against your cabinets and drawers to see what looks good.

I myself have Top Knobs Princetonian Collection in satin nickel. No nooks and crannies, has the kind of neutral appearance that goes in almost any decor, comes in a lot of sizes, allows enough space to get your fingers behind them. That is my personal taste, you need to see a bunch to see what appeals to you.

I agree with the advice above, except I would avoid pulls like the Aubrey pictured just above. The type with those ends (when pull is placed horizontally) tend to catch on pants pockets.

An effective, timeless way to achieve a color crave is to coordinate with contrast. Matte black hardware would compliment your space beautifully for a refined pop. Selecting a transitional silhouette- rectangular with soft edges- would allow this design element to evolve effortlessly as your design taste changes.

I also ended up with satin nickel and in a fairly simple design by Top Knobs that complemented my traditional kitchen and is easier to keep clean than more elaborate designs would be. Plus I factored in whether or not the pulls would be comfortable to use - for example, for the men in my family who have larger hands than I, or for my mother who has arthritis in her hands.
