How to mix metals in a bathroom?

Hi - I'd like to update the light and faucet in my downstairs bathroom, but I'm not sure how to "properly" mix metals.

I like this style light: https://www.wayfair.com/lighting/pdp/mercury-row-mata-3-light-vanity-light-w000675263.html?piid=19496860

As well as this style faucet: https://www.wayfair.com/home-improvement/pdp/t6142-moen-gibson-standard-widespread-bathroom-faucet-moe8860.html

However, I'm open to other style suggestions.

My vanity is cherry, with brushed nickel knobs and absolute black granite....all of which match my kitchen (which this bathroom is off of). I'm open to switching out the cabinet knobs if necessary.

Do I stick with plain, simple and boring and get all brushed nickel? Or can I modernize this space and mix up the metals....chrome? brass? two-tone? matte black? Eventually I would love to get some pretty Serena & Lily wallpaper for in here....but that may be pushing it w/ the hubby! LOL!

Any advice?
