Comments (9)nat4b. I think Gary Colby is a little mauvey. I like the clear pinks but he may clear up a bit. Since He's new to me, I can't be sure.. Rena, that isn't a good photo of French Confection. I do like that one and I have alwys loved Frank Smith. Chris, Gathering Sunshine has always been flesh pink here. It's supposed to be a yellow but that's ok...I like pink... Comments (15)I found last night really interesting. I was bored with the first show. But there's a whole lotta crazy on the faves team between Brandon and Phillip. I'm not sure if Phil is putting us on, but Brandon is certifiably psycho. He is a little freak who I truly believe is bipolar or has some sort of classified personality disorder. He scares me. As to the fans, next week looks interesting. I would have jumped at the chance to get rid of Shemar, he is a 300# lazy a@@ bully. And the dude with the "bulge" in his pants--what a fool! He had other places he could have hidden that immunity idol. Looks like Shemar brings the dramz next week....See MoreAgain I'll try to share my recipe, May 6, 2010
Comments (3)Linguine with shrimp scampi Vegetable oil Kosher salt 3/4 pound linguine 3 tablespoons unsalted butter 2 1/2 tablespoons good olive oil 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic (4 cloves) 1 pound large shrimp (about 16 shrimp), peeled and deveined 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves 1/2 lemon, zest grated 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (2 lemons) 1/4 lemon, thinly sliced in half-rounds 1/8 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes Directions Drizzle some oil in a large pot of boiling salted water, add 1 tablespoon of salt and the linguine, and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, or according to the directions on the package. Meanwhile, in another large (12-inch), heavy-bottomed pan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Be careful, the garlic burns easily! Add the shrimp, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and the pepper and saute until the shrimp have just turned pink, about 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from the heat, add the parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon slices, and red pepper flakes. Toss to combine. When the pasta is done, drain the cooked linguine and then put it back in the pot. Immediately add the shrimp and sauce, toss well, and serve....See MoreI'll show you mine, if you share your photo, Friday May 8
Comments (9)marking spots where plants should have come up by now. Remember, this is a new area, and I didn't want to dig in to plants early in the spring. There should be hibiscus coming up. Guess, it might not have made it. But, if all fails, as long as the other house won't sell, I can dig some more. :) Moni...See Moreceleste/NH
