White kitchen w/Venetian Gold granite anyone?
Comments (40)So I had Roman Shades for almost 30 years and didn't know it. How weird is THAT? Mine were identical to the one's above but they were the color of the red in the floor. Therefore, I can't use them because I got sick of them. I really want cloth panels over the shades. They'll look pretty with the shades pulled halfway up. I'm thinking a small window pane check so it won't be too obvious and fight with the wallpaper in the adjoining room. Thankfully the wallpaper has a LOT of colors on it so I have a lot of options! But ixnay on the roman shades. Sorry. :(...See MoreCan I mix color fixtures? Black shower head and gold faucet
Comments (15)I have matte black faucets. surprisingly, they don't show any 'grossness'. water marks barely show (chrome or nickel shows much more) super easy to wipe clean too. i'll also add, "not wanting my guests to share a bath w/teenage boys", well hell patricia. not everyone has the luxury of 3-4 bathrooms in their house. maybe she should banish her kids to a backyard outhouse? I also would mention teaching the boys how to squeegee the walls and door after each shower that cuts your cleaning time in 1/2 I love this one. good luck w/the boys and the squeegee. lol. it's a constant battle. doesn't matter what tile you get, the size, the color of the faucet. with teen boys, it's going to be a mess, regardless. teach them the cleaning basics and hope they listen....See MoreWaterstone Fulton Industrial PLP Pulldown Faucet Angled Spout W-10270
Comments (9)I think you might find this website interesting, and telling! New York Replacement Parts If you look through all of the brands listed, the only one not on the list is Waterstone. I know the owner and asked him how he is able to make parts for companies that have been out of business for years. He told me that when a company files for bankruptcy, he calls and asks for their part specs. He has all of the tooling to make these parts. I then asked him how he makes a living - headquartered in Manhattan, making parts for unusual brand faucets. He told me that it is the "big guys" that keep him busy. I asked him to name some of the brands. He did, and I replied "They all have a lifetime warranty". His response was simple... "Try and get the part". Two months after that conversation, my shower valve went out in the master shower. Company was California faucets. The part was under warranty. I called California faucets and they said they could not provide the part directly, but gave me the name of three dealers - along with their phone numbers. They said to simply call one of them and they would order the free part for me. Well... I called all three, nobody returned my call. I emailed all three - no response. So, what did I have to do? I had to call New York Replacement Parts to order my warranty replacement for $175 plus shipping - just like he predicted. So, I wondered why this happens and I figured it out. Years ago, I had a company called Luxury Home Products. We sold about 25 brands of faucets. I had about a dozen sales people working for me. They were not commissioned. I paid them a handsome salary plus 100% paid healthcare. Why no commissions? I wanted them to put the best interest of our customer first, so taking care of warranty work was not a burden - even though faucet warranty issues was the highest volume of warranty calls of all the products we offered - such as cabinetry, flooring, lighting, ceiling fans and much more. My staff would often spend hours with a single faucet warranty claim. I can clearly see why a commissioned salesperson would not want to deal with these issues. By the way, the owner purchased a Waterstone faucet from me along with a sink....See MoreKitchen cabinet hardware match w/ Kraus Oletto faucet in brushed brass
Comments (2)What brand/color did you find to match? I was just coming on here to ask the same question - I have the Kraus Bolden faucet in brushed brass. Need both cabinet pulls and knobs. I am also hoping to find a near exact match. (we chose it to match the fireplace, chandalier and other furniture hardware in nearby areas)...See Morejillybean103
