Help with Powder Room Mirror

I need suggestions as to what material, size and shape of mirror for my recently papered powder room. The fixtures are chocolate brown and polished nickel. The paper has a silvery glitzing sparkle to it and looks quite beautiful! The sconces are approximately 36" apart. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks!

I'd go for some contrast with the sconces, picking up the glitz of your knobs and faucets. Framed in a textured nickel or chrome finish, oval or rectangular (simple shapes against the movement of the paper).

Would you take another photo, straight on, of the sconces/vanity? The angle shot looks like sconces are not aligned with the vanity.

If I were to have the sconces cut through the mirror, what trades person does this type of work? I have a 4 inch back splash from the counter, how far above the back splash is the mirror placed? Or, is it placed just on top of the back splash? Since the wall will be wallpapered is it best to bring the mirror frame up to the ceiling? This makes for a very elongated look. I have an 8ft ceiling, if I did not bring the mirror all the way up to the ceiling, the wall paper would show from top of mirror to the ceiling, would that give a choppy look? Thanks very much for your help.

Here they did a custom mirror from a local mirror shop and the back splash tile is just the brushed stainless peel n stick (which you wouldn’t need). It’s just a polished edge mounted directly to the wall.

any of these styles would work (and you don't like the black frame, do it in nickel) or maybe you want one like this? they have a 24x30 (and yes, you can have the lit mirror as well as lights above it. the lit mirror is actually better for makeup, hair or shaving. a round one would look nice and soften some of the angles.

I would get a beveled mirror with no frame. Something like Murray Feiss (MR1154) Infinity 36" H x 24" W clear rectangular mirror.

I like that one as well. Just thinking that the 4" wide frame might be a little too much.

How large is your room, and ceiling height. Ours is only 4x6. Used this tall/narrow to accentuate height.

It's 5 x 7 with 9 ft ceilings. I'm still looking!

The rule of thumb with mirror size is to leave a 2-3" gap between the backsplash, sconces, lighting fixtures, etc. from each side of the mirror. As long as the space is the same on the 3 or 4 sides, it'll look like its made there.
