Comments (47)Alisande, I used to design and make clothes for a living, when I lived in San Francisco. But my business partners (two other designers) decided to move the business to New York, since that's where most of our sales were, and at that time I decided to go back to university and got a degree in design, so that I could do interior design instead. However, I got a job in a furniture company when I moved to Los Angeles, and I've been designing furniture ever since, instead of clothes, but I still do make clothes from time to time. Comments (24)Annie, your library is amazing and beautiful!! What a lovely room. My mom and dad read the newspaper, but an aunt gave me one of those Golden Books on the Arctic Tundra for Christmas when I was pretty young. I loved having a book of my own and I always loved reading. These days my books are also on my Kindle though I confess I spend more time on the internet instead of reading. Of course I am reading but nothing worth remembering. :) Because I was 37 when I started college, I do have all my school books and they are in a little shelving nook up on the second floor. I treasure them and my time in school. My picture is of the visitor my next door neighbor had last night. That was one big toad and he was so neat to see. Comments (23)Taken years ago, Fred, the groundhog and our dog, Luther. Fred lived in our backyard for a long time and I was afraid, Luther, who was half German Shepherd and have Black Lab, would catch him. I wish I had gotten a picture of Fred after I borrowed a Have a Heart trap from the local animal control people and watched him reach into it and pull out a nice, big, juicy apple I put in there to catch him. I never caught him but watched him happily snack on that apple. Not too long after I gave up on the trap, Fred left my yard. I don't know what happened to him. Apparently Kentucky's groundhog died today and was replaced with a new guy. He predicted early Spring....See More
7 years agoDH just bought a new wagon! We didn't need a wheelbarrow so he decided to get a collapsible wagon to haul his plants and bags around the yard. And when my grand daughter is a little older we can take her for little jaunts too.

7 years agoWe had one of those wagons we lost in the flood, we missed it so much we bought a new one at Academy sports asap. My husband uses it to haul in the groceries from the car. Occasionally it's used in the garden. Love it.
