I had never heard of .art but then I have never had anything to do with AOL either, learn something new every day! From that article this seems to be the key cure. It can be turned off!! To turn it off, launch AOL. This can be done on-line or off-line. Click on My AOL, then choose Preferences, then choose WWW. There you will find three choices for graphics; No graphics, Compressed graphics, Uncompressed graphics. Choose the Uncompressed graphics. Now the whole problem of the .art files will be gone. If you download a GIF or a JPG image, it will be on your hard drive as the GIF or JPG image, and be readable and usable in the normal fashion. I am hooked on using imageshack, they have some great extensions and add ons which make saving pictures to my imageshack account so easy. I love the imageshack extension for firefox, it allows you to just right click on any picture and from the list there is now an option to save to imageshack, voila it goes right to my imageshack account. they also have a great tool you can add to windows, any picture on your pc you can right click on and there will be a menu item upload to Imageshack, voila the picture is sent from my pc directly to my imageshack account. I usually use the no right click script if I am gonna be uploading or posting pictures.., just a habit that I had gotten into.. It has worked on most sites that I have made, and I do use IE... I had the script inside the proper tags, just not sure why it wouldn't work on the trade page.., but I haven't been able to figure out how to get around the bullets list that is built into the script there either, so it isn't any big deal.., also, for what it is worth, the no right click script has nothing to do with saving a page to favorites or stopping/hindering someone from looking at a cached page.. it was created to stop the ability of right clicking on pictures and copying them to your system.. there is also a script that will stop the view source which is used quite frequently as well by "nefarious" ? others if they really want to look at your information.. that really doens't bother me .. really.. all it does is stop people from seeing where you have your files stored. We have the same issue - FL repipe with CPVC. The pipes make noise after hot water is used in the mornings...it clicks, like a dripping sound for 10 minutes after the water has stopped. This is in the summer. We had the plumber come back out and they loosened some of the straps. This provided quite a bit of improvement as the issue is only in the mornings now and not throughout the day as it was before. The issue, I think, is because the pipes travel so far. We have a one story house and the pipes are in the attic. It is the strapping, I believe, that is causing the pipes to make the "dripping" sound. It is VERY annoying to me, but it does not bother my husband (he is the one showering in the mornings while I am sleeping). The sound wakes me up. I would have gone with PEX had I known about the sound issue. The concern I have is the stress on the pipes/straps causing damage on the joints/connectors.

We are living in Costa Rica and have inherited a whirlpool washer model number 7EWTW1300YM0 that has many issues. The current one is serious. After adding an item mid filling cycle and shutting the lid the washer would not restart and ever since (when plugged and replugged) will click lock, click unlock, click lock, click unlock with the red lid locked light flashing. Eventually it stops but the machine is paralyzed with nothing but the red lid lock light on. I think the most pertinent information is I have run the diagnostic tests and with the Auto test everything is working fine. The error codes seem to change every time I fiddle with it but the original two were F5E1 and F5E3 both lid switch and locking and unlocking errors. When I go to the manual testing, the locking mechanism works fine lock, unlock no problem. When going to page 18 in the manual for Test #8 Lid Lock J15 appears to be in working order though it seems that the only issue can be a malfunction of the control panel (and J15) as the locking mechanism works (when checked manually). So after we unplug and re plug the machine.....click lock, click unlock, click lock and click unlock and nothing. Being in rural Costa Rica it is not easy to find parts so if that was the path that I must take I really want to be sure that it is the right part! Please help if you can as I have read so many similar posts but none seem to be able to help solve our problem.
