I had some toast with peanutbutter. I made peppers, zucchini, onion and egg last night for dinner and will probably have that for lunch too.

I don't know yet -- got up late for some reason, just now having some coffee after waiting the hour after my thyroid pill. Maybe I will finish the sausage in the freezer with an egg and the last of my blueberries.

Not much breakfast today. But tomorrow our daughter will be with us and I'll make sourdough waffles (thanks for the recipe, gardengal!)

Greek yogurt with a banana chopped into it, hard boiled egg, one slice of toast and a cup of coffee. I'm a person who likes to eat!

Vanilla flavored greek yogurt and a couple of slices of banana bread that I made on Sunday and coffee. During the week I eat breakfast at my desk at work.

We had leftover blueberry, pecan pancakes from yesterday morning. We are having cooler weather with lower humidity.

I had made a mix of lean hamburger, onions, sweet peppers, and some leftover salad earlier in week. I had some of that along with some green beans. Sometimes I eat typical breakfast foods, others I eat leftovers. Depends on my mood.

Breakfast is going to be a burrito filled with chili verde, refried beans, spanish rice and cheese along with a fruit salad topped with yogurt.

Half a scrambled egg. I wasn't hungry before I left for work for a rare day shift and now I am starving with no food.

Wednesday and Sunday are our 'egg' days. Just over easy this morning with a Costco muffin, OJ, and coffee. (Well, coffee for DH; I drink milk with a little coffee.)

I think Marilyn Sue and I have the same wonderful weather right now. Clear, blue sky, not too hot, a breeze.

Wow, Alyssa's school starts EARLY. Our DGD is also eight, but doesn't start school until the end of August. It's her first year 'on her own' at her school. Big brother (14) is starting HS. Do I remember that Alyssa took up where you left off with the hens and chicks, Marilyn Sue?

Same thing I always do - 2 pieces of country grain bread made by our local bakery, toasted with a slice of swiss cheese and 1/4 avocado in between the 2 slices and coffee and a couple of glasses of water. And I'm good to go.

My breakfast was about 2 pm, after I got up. I had a seafood soup from Trader Joe's with rice I made for another dish in it.

Sprout's 9 Grain bread toasted and topped with Whole Food's jalapeno pimento cheese.

Bought a bag of 6 avocados at Costco yesterday. I read recently you can keep ripe avocados in the fridge until ready to eat. Guess I'll be be testing that out.

I had a couple of early appointments this morning so no time to fix a proper breakfast. Instead, I treated myself to one of my favorite secret indulgences while on the road.......a McD's sausage McMuffin. Other than their coffee, I don't have much good to say about McDonald's......except for the sausage McMuffin. Oh my, do I like those!! And so does the dog, with whom I always share. He knows when I pull into the parking lot...........treats are coming!

GG, I like their egg mcmuffins and their salads are pretty darned good. Love their coffee.

@chi - That's exactly how I buy avocados and describe to people how to tell if they're ripe. Keep them on the counter until they squeeze like a tennis ball. If I'm buying them to eat right away - same thing. And I keep them in the fridge once they're ripe as well.

Maybe it was you who I picked that tip up from then! I always used to wait until they were softer, and they would end up being too soft and bruised. Now they are almost always perfect.

Wednesday breakfast was delayed till noon as Dh was having a stress test that began at 8 am. On the way home near noon we decided to make it lunch instead and stopped at Applebees. Have always liked Applebees, but my lunch choice of a Southwest type Chicken breast and rice meal was bad. Chicken ok, but the rice was either barely cooked or had sat around so long it had dried out. Almost 'crunchy', no moisture to it at all. When I complained, they told me that I was not the first to complain about it! Brought me french fries instead. Not what I wanted. DH did enjoy his meal of short ribs, fries and cole slaw.

Today I was hungry, and already made breakfast -- Mac & cheese, made with nonfat sour cream, nonfat cottage cheese, and cheddar, with a couple of big handfuls of greens and 2 tablespoons of hummus stirred in. Enough left over to have later or tomorrow AM.
