Need help with furniture layout
Comments (11)Cute space!! I like it a lot!! Very cozy :) What if you did a sectional. And a large rug. I would also consider removing the round mirror. It’s nice - and you should keep it - for a diff space. But I think something larger. And more square would work better....See MoreHelp with Furniture Layout in Open Floor Plan Great Room
Comments (10)The (real, licensed) architect drew in the same layout we’ve seen in suburban model homes everywhere. He freely admitted that these layouts are not his strong suit and didn’t want to spend any time in it. I didn’t share the drawing because I don’t want to get hung up on tweaking the original idea. I thought starting with a blank slate would inspire more creativity. Also, I’d prefer to have a round dining table for better interaction when we’re all together. I’d also like to avoid placing the TV above the fireplace if there are better alternatives....See MoreNeed help with furniture layout for a small sunroom
Comments (38)A narrow entry door is also a limiting factor. Is the exterior door from sunroom wider? Usually exterior doors are 36” wide. So that gives a way in. Plus, some of the swivel bases can be removed which would help. I can’t be sure without careful measurements. I would prefer a cozy love seat and one swivel chair. For several reasons. First, your “line of sight” coming into this room is looking at shorter wall. That is your focal point wall. The cozy loveseat you can curl up on with a book, would be my choice. Then perhaps a “C” table near the loveseat with an arc lamp that can be positioned over reading spot. Add art on that wall. Then you could position two compact chairs for added seating across from that piece. Small drink tables and that’s it. Might add cute small ottoman that could act as small table with a small tray when needed. Just depends on how you realistically will use this room....See Morehelp with furniture layout tv above fireplace ♀️
Comments (14)If you read enough threads on this forum you find that sectionals cause endless amounts of grief in furniture arrangement. If you don't already own it, why don't you consider a sofa and chairs to allow you more flexibility in your layout? You'll have more room for your dining set as well....See MoreRelated Professionals
