Saving seeds from Charcoal x Purple Cherokee hybrid tomato?

My best tomato performer this year is a Charcoal x Purple Cherokee hybrid tomato I picked up at Bonnie Plants. It has a truly outstanding taste, very heavy yields, and it continues to perform even in the Baltimore July heat whereas my other "black" tomato varieties are struggling. Here is the tomato info:

I am worried about the possibility that I won't find this hybrid again next year, and so I'm interested in saving seeds this year and attempting to grow from seed next year. My question is, will these seeds produce a plant that is genetically "true to type"? Since both of the parental varieties are high quality heirlooms I'm sure the resulting plans will be okay... but how do you figure out if a variety is open-pollinated or an F1 hybrid?
