The number of non-openers is dwindling. Many opened today.

CLAUDINE'S CHARM - not a single blemish on both blooms that opened. Clump is huge.

CROWN OF CREATION - Shorter than normal scape but lots of them.

Moved last fall to the bed with Jamie Dockery and Fire On The Mountain.

I mistakenly put this one on the end instead of between them.

INCA APOTHECARY - short scapes and not many of them.

SARAH HAWES - Avg scapes. Moving it when it finishes blooming.

LIGHT OF THE WORLD - Large bloom and packed with scapes and buds.

Many of you have the other version Little Light Of Mine.

CONCRETE BLONDE - moved last fall to new location and it is doing much better.

Fans have now increased and it has short scapes but that will improve.

I love the heavy texture of the bloom.

JELLYFISH JEALOUSY - Not as intense in color on first opening. Always tall and big blooms.

CANTER -massive clump, avg scape height should bloom for the next several weeks.

HIGH WATERMARK = avg scape height, lots of scapes and buds.

MISTER LUCKY - still doing better. The eye is more intense in person than the photo shows.

Still have it growing up through lupines and it does okay like that.

LOST IN THE TOY STORE WITH GENTLE ON MY MIND. I noticed the eye on LITS is much

more prevalent today. Not sure where to move this one as it is registered with

30" scapes but I've only seen at tops 22.

FREEDOM'S TRIUMPH - this one has been a bit of a problem this season

and I think it is more to do with scape and bud overload keeping blooms

from opening fully. Moved it last fall to the back garden.

MAUI SUNRISE - taking on more of orange tones. It has been blooming for weeks

now but had reddish tones when temps were cooler.

First difference I noticed when the temps spiked.

This was also moved last fall to the walkway garden.

BLUE RIDGE BUTTERFLY - One of the reason I got it was for the watermark.

Hope it likes its new spot along the walkway garden.

That is all for today. We did get a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon so I wasn't able to deadhead and its already humid here this morning and more storms predicted for this afternoon. My list of ones I have to divide this fall is growing.
