I kept some of the little disco balls that were on Rudy at Christmas, hanging on the little table. The sun has so much strength in it these days, and it's hitting the little balls, making little crystal lights on the wall and floor.

New bamboo planking. We found the radiant heat piping runs "under" the shelving on the left side, an error on the part of the builder. On the right side it's out from under,. We left the bottom shelf off, it used to sit ON the floor, so NOW...... heat can circulate, heating the room! ☺ It will be more efficient! Yay! (we didn't know this before we ripped the carpet out)

Optical illusion - mine, anyway! I took photos as we were approaching the island of Santorini and a thin white line on the cliffs looked to my northern eyes like snow. As we got closer, of course I could see the line was the many white buildings on the island

Right now, is probably more than we got all year last year. This began a couple of hours ago and it's supposed to go all night tonight, all day tomorrow, all night tomorrow night, into Tuesday morning. And so, it begins. I wonder what it's going to be in another 24 hours+? I like living where there is snow to look at, that hardly ever accumulates (yearly average snowfall in Nashville's 4.7 in), and only happens maybe three times a season. So I actually dread this stuff. I told the deer you can't see, because they're over there in the dark, they could eat any of my plants they needed to. 🤞🏻 Pretty sure it's colder than it's been in three or four years. May I please move back to Hawai'i now?
