Overheated Violet. Help! :(
Comments (6)Hm, weird. The link works fine for me. I never really know how imgur works :P I put the violet back on it's normal, low-light window and the leaves on one side are a little dark but coming back. The other half... eh. the biggest leaf has a big soft brown spot on it so I'm thinking in a few days that might need to come off. I'll just do what you said and let it do its thing. The crown doesn't seem damaged at all. I was just freaking out because it looked so great and full a few days ago and now it's kinda sparce and sickly looking. Gonna go downstairs and check on it now; if something major as changed I'll update but I think you're right, it's gonna be ok and it just needs time. Luckily its supposed to be cloudy/rainy today. Thanks for the reply; I feel a lot better knowing my violet is gonna be ok :)...See MoreHanging Photos In 3 Season Sun Room
Comments (2)IMO in most sunrooms you need some way of controlling heta and UVrays too . In a 3 season room you also involve the temp changes so my advice would be use the pics during the 3 seasons and in the winter bring them in...See MoreLemons and Limes and Sun Rooms
Comments (9)Today is a dark, dreary day, not the best for inside photos. The sunroom is the best spot for plants with 2 walls of windows, but, I've run into a snag. I just learned that citrus is toxic and can be poisonous to cats. My cat taste tests everything I have growing inside. I know about toxic house plants, and only grow the ones that won't hurt her, but I didn't think about citrus. I have to put this on hold until I can think of a way to keep the tree and the cat separated, if that's even possible. I am so appreciative of all the information you've given me, and hope I can eventually put it to use....See MoreSun Room Ceiling Fan
Comments (8)Based on your list of requirements you'll have a hard time finding a fan. 60" is fine, but in a finish other than bronze, wood blades wet rated & 3 blades!!! Why not ask for diamonds while you're at it. Show us your fan...See Morecalidesign
