They have wound all of the suckers around the main trunk and so are growing it like a fancy hibiscus or other multiple trunked shrubs. Comments (18)Lars, I took a Desert Hot Springs sculpture pic back in 1997 on one of our two 4 week motorcycle trips touring the western half of the states. We made it a challenge to see how many of Toth's carvings we could find. Even then some of them had somehow disappeared or were moved to places for repair or we had no information to follow up on. This is a pic of the original one in a park near Akron Ohio. Sadly, vandals cut it in half diagonally some years ago. Comments (16)Mine is long and narrow leading out into our attached garage. But it has a nice, organized walk-in closet with shelves for laundry,donations, etc. on one side of it, and clothing rods , shelves and drawers on the other for outerwear, my purses, etc. In the laundry room itself, there are also cabs for laundry supplies, extra dinnerware storage, and a second pantry cab. I inherited my grandmother’s Cottageware and Fruitware collections fom our summerhouse on the lake that I absolutely loved as a kid growing up. The rest of our home is decorated New Mexican, but my laundry room is decorated with my Cottage and Fruitware, as well as framed photos and memorabilia from my childhood there at our summerhouse. 7 years agoI have been to Hawaii twice, but it was quite a few years ago. It's a beautiful place and when I lived in California, it was an easy trip. It is a far piece and very expensive once you get there but it is simply beautiful! I learned to snorkel on a vacation there and that was great fun. Since none of my Hawaii pictures are available digitally, I will share a California beach picture.

7 years agoView from condo last time we were there. Loved morning coffee on the lanai. Sigh.
7 years agoNo Hawaii, no beach scene or pretty flowers. No artistic talent either. Just me and my lap comforter that comforted me all day yesterday after the news of the death of my 'special' sister-in-law. Tomorrow is the annual family reunion. We will honor her by going ahead with this family gathering. She would insist that we do so.

7 years agoSince I don't have any Hawaii pictures readily available, I am posting a few of my oldest granddaughter. She is so gorgeous. Can't believe she is 28 already.
I used to drive her crazy taking pictures of her, I was so glad when I got my first digital camera and could take tons of pics.
