Can Someone help me ID this Brugmansia for me Please
Comments (6)Does look like a frosty pink - one of the old stalwarts. But as jesus said, it could be any. I had a frosty pink years ago, and the blooms looked like that, kind of a "quilted" look. I always enjoyed it - and don't know why I don't have one now. It was always one of the most strongly scented brugs I had. Roses. Always smelled like roses to me. Thank you for the beautiful pics - I think I'll get one for myself. (Short/small brug, stays a manageable size.)...See MoreCan someone help me ID this hoya?
Comments (7)Hello all, I'm new on this forum. But I have recently realized i have a new hoya addiction!!!! I bought a Hoya from Lowes labeled lacunosa and it's a tsangii or bilobata (which i already have)realized it when i got it home & was rinsing it off,it was from EA nursery. They have a serious problem with mislabeling their plants!! I will post a picture of it,the one thing i would say to look for with this plant is the leaves feel kind of like felt they're soft. They have thin leaves not the thick leaves most have.Mine has a lot of leaves that grow in sets of 4 instead of 2. I can't seem to figure out how to post a picture,I will try to figure it out. Here is a link that might be useful: gardenweb...See MoreCan someone help me ID these?
Comments (12)Thanks! I can see myself buying something called Eskimo Pie, just based on the name, not to mention that it is a white or light centered one, which is my favorite type (I wonder how such preferences come about: why do I like that so much more than a white edged one?). Anyone else know anything? What is the big one in the middle of the last shot, with a narrow white edge? Nothing here is more than 2 years old, and I am surprised at how big that one got. And, the smallish blue ones (not the Blue Cadet, the ones with a slightly wavy edge), like that in the forground of "view from the North"? I appreciate the help!...See MoreCan someone help me ID my Dwarf ? Plumie
Comments (2)Hi Karen, neat little plumie you have there. If you can recall, back in 2006 when I was trying to ID my first plumie, the one from my Oz cutting, I seem to remember being told that as it had such a distinct vein running around the outer edge of the leaf it was a Celadine. Now you all know I'm no Plumie expert, just a mere novice in this field, so please don't take this as proof of what you have got here...I may well be barking up the wrong tree!!! Woof-Woof!! That was just what I was told. It looks lovely anyway...no doubt someone with more expertise will help you with other suggestions. It will be interesting to hear from the others...good luck!
