Comments (8)I'm glad you are updating the bay(bow), but I don't like the clipped gable end. It is a interesting detail that makes your home more modern. I would not complicate the roof with another gable. It just emphasizes the three car garage. I think the stone gable portico is heavy and too traditional. How about a shed roof portico? Or a flat roof with a minimal pitch? With a modern door it will add presence to the entry. Can you remove the stone between the original two garages and make them one? I would put an arbor over them at any rate to break up the three garages. This color and a darker gray will compliment your stone....See MoreSonya Oden
