Need help picking paint color

Looking for helpful suggestions on paint colors for my grandma’s house. She has red brick, brown downspouts, etc. and red-brown shingles. Thank you for the help!

4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoDoes she like navy-ish gray-blue? Paint downspouts to match the surface they are in front of. I would do the horizontal siding in the dark blue and the vertical in white. You could add blue shutters to the two windows in front with white trim. The red brick could be whitewashed if she doesn't like it with these colors but the blue would be nice.

Comments (6)Thanks Beth. Still under construction, so no pictures of the interior. Thanks for posting those pictures. I attached the building plan below. The cabinets are all new and basic builder cabinets (unfinished from Lowe's). I have yet to purchase furniture, but will be going to look tomorrow... was hoping to decide paint colors first just to be sure it doesn't clash. 4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoI think the darker color below will anchor the house so it doesn't "float" off the ground, so to speak. Here's red brick with navy-ish blue; just to get a feel for it. Since most of the brick is not on the street side, it isn't a lot to worry about.
