All white would look more put together and sophisticated. Maybe it's the angle, but the accent wall looks a bit odd.

If you do an accent wall, I would consider the short wall on the end and coordinate with chairs. That would raise the eye to the pretty cathedral shape of the ceiling and be something much more interesting than behind the bed. You won't see that wall much either while laying in bed! As to color, you have a flooring? What finish is going to be on the chandelier? What are your favorite colors? your case goods (wood pieces) are neutral, so you have wide latitude.

The bed frame and headboard have orange tones. You could choose another orange-toned color like Diverse Beige, or an adjacent color like the red-toned Insightful Rose, or Rockwood Jade. Or you could even do an opposite blue-green tone such as Tranquil Aqua. All colors below are by Sherwin-Williams.

The builder's model simply matches the accent wall to the color of the carpet. This is much easier than trying to find a carpet to match paint. So, it's better to choose bedding, carpet and such first, then choose paint to work with it all.

I like color so my choices above are more saturated, but many SW whites have a lot of color without being so bold. If you choose a grayed, muted color it will look more sophisticated IMO. I recommend you use SW's ColorSnap Visualizer to preview colors. Below is a room done two ways with Alabaster White trim.

When you narrow down your choices, you should buy some samples and try them in the room. Paint will look different in bright areas than it will in shaded areas. It will look different under interior lighting than it will under natural light.

To me the model's simple lines, smooth surfaces go better with accent wall, and in a bright color: contemporary. I wouldn't do that but would let your bed style become slightly what's the word... regal...no....do you happen to like damask and such for bedding? I could see a transitional elegant wallpaper maybe as accent.

No biggie ok no beams, so there is or not an architectural direction of molding etc...? bed/stand has slight distressed? then maybe slight texture? love this soft color -

Cozier room? or with more 'definition' structure -- Not Scandinavian type of room, but if you like it - expert could create bed / focal point with paper extending to proper place/ width on wall to each side of bed. Framed with trim etc... Whimsical.Chirping birds, playful bunnies, mischievous squirrels, and sweet deer walk among this animal wallpaper. The Scandinavian folk style has a modern appeal with crisp bright white print and deep navy background.

Or if you love excellent striking chandelier, try that idea. Just one photo and sold out, but if you choose major expenses, the paint color can follow...

What mood you want matters a lot. I painted a romantic pale peach.... ?! maybe you want strong drama in paint color to envelop the whole space - or just drama or bright color for bedding.

Love it - to each his/her own. See the headboard the photo shows just to see … contemporary direction I suppose. Curtains for one area - do you have fondness of changing them now and then? maybe you do want the same paint - is bedroom already painted? Pretty floral curtains maybe... black-out too?

For the bedroom it might be nice to not have an accent wall. This way the room is simpler and more relaxing. Maybe look to add pops of color in accent pillows and other design pieces like plants rather than the whole wall! Love the furniture choices by the way.

I think an accent wall would definitely tie the room together and bring a coziness to the space.

I think that painting the wall behind the bed would add tension to the room because you would really have the pop of the paint colour competing with the many shapes of the windows. In addition, as pointed out, the bed posts are wider than the window and that tension would increase if the colour was in an alternate colour. I agree with Tracy. I think a bedroom should be relaxing .

Just saw your floor photo - to me very well goes soft and could be a soft color paint. Some might go neutral - like the valance I posted: sort of grays and linens, some creamy color... maybe textured this or that.

For drama, maybe fairly deep bedding, or rug.

A neutral 'bed wall' could be medium-deep for contrasting interest for bed/ bedding like here. The color is Sherwin Williams 7047 Porpoise. Idk if other walls are same hue, lighter...

If bed seems textured, nice texture at foot of bed:

I would paint a soft muted color on all the walls. It will make your bedroom feel like you are entering a new space since all your other walls are Alabaster. Since the rest of the room is neutral, you can use almost any other color that you love - blues, greens, blush, etc.

U could paint the area up to the board going horizontal a color or a charcoal of headboard. It will be the star of room.
