Choosing a dining table color for open floor plan
Comments (13)I have this Hooker pedestal round table in my kitchen eating area and love the color it is a light/medium walnut....so pretty....the finish on top is indestructible.....I added black chairs with upholstered seat cushion but for your area I would add ivory chairs..so many to choose from painted or upholstered. the 60” fits 6 Chairs very nicely. ....See Morehelp picking dining table color to go with light hardwood floor
Comments (6)Color is very hard to assess on line. Do you have chairs? Window treatments? What china do you plan on using with this table? Do you have a chandelier? Do you have or plan on a rug? Comments (7)Why keep the ceiling; it is not nearly as interesting as the parquet flooring and overpowers the room....either go MCM totally with furnishing et al., or rip out the all the wood and do everything in the same complimentary tones.......you are being penny wise and pound foolish. I do not mean to be harsh, but this is a forum and all opinions are on view, but what you choose to do, depends on what you consider when you read all the opinions....See MoreDining Table Paint Color
Comments (15)Thanks for the suggestions! I think I’m going with coral! 🙂 I love Alison Krandle’s designs and this kitchen she did! I found a color that matches the kitchen island here, and I think that will compliment the blue curtains, and brighten that space up. I love the idea of navy metal chairs to replace the others, but the bench was built by my husband so I plan to keep that☺️. The chairs are from the barn behind my moms house. They are super old and not very stable, so later down the road when the budget allows I will definitely look into the navy ones. I think that color would compliment the coral and the blue as well!...See MoreDeb Zilch
