What kind of soil do i have and how should i amend it?
Comments (5)Where in the world you are can be of tremendous assistance to some of us, although my soil is sand while my sisters soil (6 miles west of me) is clay. Usually sand atop a clay base indicates that someone dumped some sand there in an attempt to have a soil kind of easier to cultivate then the clay would be. The clay, under that sand, will keep that sand from draining properly, two different soil types with vastly different drainage capabilities. I would talk with the people at your local office of your state universities Cooperative Extension Service to find out what your soil type shoulld be....See Morewhat kind of mums do I have & what do I do with them?
Comments (2)I think most mums that they sell around here are hardy. They have been forced to bloom early to be in the store. When I've planted them, the blooms turn brown and I shear them off. Comments (10)Our goal was not showing off stuff. Italian Double Satin Fibers--very subtle close up; we needed something to break up the amount of oak in the room, but didn't want it to be a strong design. If I had turned the patterned mugs, etc. a bit before snapping photo, you wouldn't see a lot, just the presence of the dishes. Color of item is a bigger issue than item shape when looking through a partially obscure glass if you want to NOT see stuff in cupboards, I think. I would probably choose a less expensive option if doing it again, but my #2 runner up "Dissymetry" seemed to have too much pattern when I was planning. It's one of a number of "sale" patterns at Art Glass Cabinets. Try this thread, one of many. There are other threads if you rummage around on GW Kitchens also, with more images of cabinet glass kitchens.
