Beach Condo - Window Treatment Dilemma
Comments (7)Thank you Fenstermann! I didn't go with the roller shades because they don't provide as much insulation but I am going to get them for our Florida home. Thanks for the advice! My husband will love adding the app to his phone. What I did decided for the Bethany condo on is 2" vertical honeycomb that will open from the center. I can push them back like curtains for the summer and will get a good level of insulation for the winter. I will post a picture after they install. Thank you so much for your advice. I love this site!...See MoreWindow Treatment Dilemma

Comments (7)Let's face it. Your windows are all the way up and you do not want to climb a ladder every 6 to 9 months to charge the battery of every shade. Not practical and maybe even dangerous. You should talk to an electrician or window covering specialist that has an electrician license to get hard wired motorized shades. Not cheap but this is what you need. Best of luck....See Morewindow treatment dilemma
