Furniture Design Dilemma Kitchens

Help me find bright, comfy barstools!

I was hoping to find something locally, so I could see how comfortable they are, but no luck. Here’s what I’m looking for:
-counter height
-ideally low back.
-ideally swivel. If swivel, definitely low back-our countertops with be soapstone and I don’t want kids hitting the counter with the chair back every time.
-bright colors! Mascarpone painted cabinets, May green Bluestar range. I love bright colors and would like to buy three or four stools in different fun colors OR something that is easy to recover with my own fabric.
-ideally under $200 each
-house built in the 40s so retro design is great.

I have these and they are very comfortable. only bright color is orange and they break the budget you posted but I can’t recommend enough.

Judy G, above you mention a bench seat is more comfortable but I wonder about it getting saggy looking and are there any other downsides? I only have had 3 cushion sofas. Also how do you think the Capris brand rates on expense side? I went to their website and they don't list retailers so asked for some with my FL zip code. One more question for a design pro- what do you think of slip covered couches? To me they look a little sloppy but I do like that it can be washed.

If your goal is warm and comfy appealing in that room, you don't want to bring in dark furniture or even flooring. Because it only has one window, that room is really needing bright and light colors. May not be what you want to hear, however a chocolate brown sofa and black cabinet with a darker floor is not going to warm up the room.

Sorry i forgot to link. They are the Onda from design within reach. They swivel and have the low back. I live it because the back is low enough to tuck under the counter but high enough to give that low back support.

What aboutsoda fountain stools? That's one example. Google soda fountain stools for lots more examples.
