Parasitic larvae in Succulent leaves.

Francis Nedvidek

Some of my outdoor succulents had begun to rot and turn yellow in their leaves. We had been having heavy rain, so I thought perhaps they got too wet but noticed holes on Closer inspection. The leaves look deflated, simular to a burst blister. In some I found single small worm-isch (presumably) larvae. I don’t have pictures, but I am curious as to what happened and perhaps how I can prevent further infestation.
