Out of Control Fiddle Leaf Fig

I have read the recommendations for keeping a fiddle leaf fig growing in a straight configuration. I've got a VERY happy fig in a big pot that was taking over my living room, reaching for the light. I have just pruned the reaching limbs so it's more columnar. Now I think I need to thin some leaves to improve circulation and light, because there is a lot of leaf crowding. I've now got 3 cuttings in water to start plants for friends - this one tree has spawned about 4 so far!

Advice much appreciated. Before and after photos included.
