Hey, Look what I found! Uhmm...what did I find?
Comments (14)So I started playing with the Lucite a bit after getting it separated in shapes. I've had this bowl for years, and never knew what to do with it. It measures 22 inches across, and is 1/2 thick. Start of what looks like a moth or butterfly of some sort. Thank you all for your ideas, and comments....See MoreLook what I found when I was looking for pepper plants
Comments (4)Great find Noto! It's a pity that these variegated crassulas tend to have these brown marked leaves, mine are too, and everyone else that posts about them seems to mention it. Why is it a feature of them, anyone know? Nice colour on the Hummels also. Gill...See MoreLook what I found today!
Comments (46)This has been fun, Sherry. I have been sharing it with my grandchildren who had a gazillion questions every time with every new picture-which is fine!! Today's comment from the five year old: "Caterpillars are so yucky ugly but they sure know how to turn out pretty!" Thank you for keeping up with this and sharing it. It was very special....See MoreLook what I found, round 2!
Comments (88)sorry to bring this thread down with a sad note, but none of the 13 chrysalis in my cage appear healthy. I was hoping they were just late but last weekend I officially gave up. There are small wasps? And a small hole visible in some of them, and I think they’ve all been parasitized. I thought having them under a screen house would keep them safe but no Since the wasps are small enough to just pass through the screen mesh. now all I’ve succeeded in doing is make it harder for other butterflies to reach maturity Since there must be a bunch more parasites around now. Plus I’ve been finding monarch wings under the flowers since my garden also has bunches of praying mantis this year and they don’t seem to mind munching on monarch. I guess I should be happy my garden has so many bug predators, but I’d rather have more butterflies.......See Moreperen.all Zone 5a Ontario Canada
