Furniture Design Dilemma entry

Hey there, I need a little help with my entry way. I have a short entry wall separating my front entry door and the stairs that open up to my open floor-plan living room and kitchen.

The wall measures 28" long x 14.5" wide. I would like to have a table in this space but this one that I found at Home Goods isn't quite working because it's too small. The measurements of the small table is 16" long and 10" wide. Please let me know if you have any suggestions... Perhaps, I should skip a table??

I also found this one from West Elm that measures 12"w x 18"d x 25"h but I'm a bit afraid that its still not the best fit for my space. I would appreciate any feedback.

Those C tables look like they are meant to go next to a sofa not next to a doorway. I think the metal/marble look is good but the shape of the table is not.

This would worth width wise. I’d look for small/mini console tables with at least one drawer if possible

I would leave the narrow walls on each side blank. It's not necessary to have something on every wall. Likewise, if your hall is narrow, I wouldn't add a table. If you NEED something to place keys or whatever, maybe a narrow shelf?

I would get a much larger chadelier, put a small walnut demilune table on the handle side of the door with a long mirror above, place a long piece of fiber art on the wall to the left, and get a coordinating rug. The table/mirror will give you a bit of function, and the fiber art and rug will give you texture and color.

What do you need to make it more functional? It's difficult to tell from the photos how much room you have to work with. I'd definitely want a small table near the door. Some people want a bench and place to stash shoes and coats. If a mirror would make it more functional for you, I wouldn't hesitate to hang one!

I would look into a chunky wall hung shelf- say 8-10” deep, 36” long. Then you can get a petite lamp and a bowl for keys/ mail.

Better choices... C tables have their own application and it is not as foyer/entry pieces.

I like the idea of leaving the floor space open as decoenthusiaste suggested. If you are looking for a quick easy solution try Ikea trones. They come in white or black and are an inexpensive solution. they also come in black, You could put a mirror above 1 or 2, They are for shoe storage but they can be used to store other items as well.
