Bathroom exhaust fan with light

Im remodeling my bathroom and putting in a new one. Would love some suggestions on a nice one with a light that isn't fluorescent.... maybe a warmer light color. thanks!

You can probably do a search at Build.com or here at Houzz to find them. Panasonic is well thought of. My whisper warm panasonic is so quite I can barely tell when it is on. I got one with humidity sensor and proximity sensing, so it turns on when anyone is in the bathroom.

Just do a search and you should be able to use the advanced search options to find just what you want. Then buy it wherever you like once you have found the model you want.

I got that one too but it says it has flourescent light bulbs inside. Is that what your is too?

Okay, I really think you have to start from the beginning again and describe the whole situation. Did this ever work? Why are you changing this at all? Are you just replacing the double-switch with another one? In that case, just hook it up like the old one was hooked up. But then why are you looking at the fan/light wiring? Are you trying to replace a light with a fan/light and a single switch with a double switch? If that's the case, you will probably have to run new wires from the switches to the fan/light location.

Maybe the solution is a fan/light combination such as this Nutone 744NT which appears to be a simple recessed light when installed. It uses a standard bulb so you could install a bulb of whatever brightness and color temperature you wanted. build.com has lots of fan/light combinations like this including the Panasonic FV-08-VRE2*. *The Panasonic uses a harder-to-find GU24-base bulb.

if you wanted to go to 200a, make sure your service is rated for it. a sub panel would much less time consuming though and there is nothing hacky about them at all. If you move everything else off that circuit, youd be fine putting the 10a fan/heater combo on a dedicated 15a circuit. Besides, the wire and breaker must be sized 125% of the heaters rating, due to it being a contunous load and that puts it at 12.5a. Therefore, you'd need to put it on a 15a circuit regardless and not a 10a.

Maybe, I don't remember. It is the light we use the least, so is rarely turned on. Companies are moving toward LEDs. For instance, there are a LOT of ceiling fans with LED lights now. If you can put off the project for a while, you can probably find one with an LED light within months. Build.com has one now, by a company I have no experience with.Light kit for exhaust fan with LED.

It fits their 50 cfm and 80 cfm fans here.
