Great way to start the day!
Comments (9)The lake here looks beautiful and the sun has been shining, but water aerobics in 61 degree weather, I don't think so. Maybe the pontoon boat will get in the water, not my body, yet....See MoreExercises last week, and yesterday
Comments (9)The bike Mel rides is actually harder to do! Pushing forward without having gravity on your side as you do in regular biking. Kudos! Moni, you look fit and professional as always. I have been having trouble with my foot for 6 months. Nothing can be done, just have to wait for it to heal. In the meantime, I still go to my weight training classes, I just modify when my foot comes in to play. It has been raining lately, so no walks with the dog! We take him on car rides to ward off the boredom....See MoreExercises the fourth week of January
Comments (13)I'm glad to see that I can come here to get some motivation on the days that I am slacking! Walked 7 miles today -- cold, wind chill was the big issue, but the sun was out for most of the day -- the first day that I can remember in weeks! I had put on too much weight so far this year, and had really allowed myself to get deconditioned after a series of injuries (including broken toes followed by plantar fasciitis). I miss the feel-good of running but just couldn't seem to get myself up and out -- I guess fear of the foot pain returning had something to do with that. So I took vacation days this past week, set last Monday as the day, cut out grains, sugars, milk and legumes, and dusted off my "The Firm" exercise videos (plus a few others). So far so good -- I've alternated videos with walking, even jogged a few minutes, every day. It is back to work on Wednesday; hopefully I've far enough into the "reset" to keep my momentum after working 12 hour shifts....See MoreExercises the second week of February
Comments (17)Swimming is just not happening.... waaaaaaahhhh! Today during the best time to be in the pool (as in least people in there) I had a dentist appointment. When I got home, I really thought I was going to blow off exercising... but then put on a jacket, and headed out on foot towards the lake. I walked both loops, and back, at a quick pace. Same distance has taken me 1 1/2 hour before... but then I sat on the bench by the water for a few... this time, I accomplished it all in 55 minutes. I just needed to "get er done". LOL Anyone else work out?...See More- 7 years agolast modified: 7 years ago
