It was a great episode, that's for sure.

It was good but very unrealistic regarding who died. Based on what I saw so many more shouldn't have made it out of it alive.

I agree, Kath. So many more should have died. For awhile, it looked like no one would make it out alive. I was shaking watching it, pretty much the most intense 90 minutes of television I've ever watched. I really liked the scene with Sansa and Tyrion. And of course Arya! I think she was still on a high from her lovin' with Gendry, haha. That scene in the previous episode was hard to watch, I still see her as a little kid. Now on to King's Landing to take care of Cersei. I still predict it will be Jaime that does the deed, but Melisandre did say Arya would or had kill someone with green eyes and Cersei has green eyes. But she could have been talking about Littlefinger. I have to say, the writing has been excellent. I don't think anyone saw what happened with Arya and the Night King.

That's true, there were no witnesses to the Night King's slaying and his slayer except Bran. Curious.

It felt a little...anti-climatic for me. Arya is awesome but this guy is supposed to be the biggest threat mankind has ever seen and Arya stabbed him with a dagger, and now the entire threat is wiped out. In one episode.

No one outside of the handful of survivors will ever know the truth of what happened in the north. No one else in the world will appreciate what they did or have any concept of the disaster that almost occured. Even Cersei who saw the wight will think it was no big deal if all the main people survived and dealt with this "attack."

I also don't see how they are supposed to take on Cersei's army now with like 10 people alive but I'm sure there are some surprises left. :)

That being said, it was beautifully done and very suspenseful. I just thought the plot was a bit hasty.

It was a great episode, but geez, kind of dark (yes, I know it took place at night)

I watched it in bed on the smaller TV because I wasn't feeling well, while my husband watched it on the big TV in the living room. I enjoyed the episode but regret watching it on the smaller screen. It was so dark! But from what I understand, the directors purposely did it that way so the viewers would also feel that sense of disorientation like the characters did while fighting at night. I read the battle scene alone was 55 minutes or so. I was exhausted myself when it ended..lol. I'm glad to see many of my favorites survive (so far) and the battle with Cersei should be a doozy also.
