Olga, I'm just going to sit down before I faint. What a beauty you're growing! It's great to see Alchymist when it's been sprayed. I don't spray and the blackspot isn't really terrible here in Washington, but oh, what a pretty sight to see the perfect leaves. Your blooms are so soft and the colors simply stunning! Ours is loaded with buds once more, very tightly packed, but no color showing yet. I'll post pictures when it blooms. Meantime, I think I'll borrow one of your pics for my desktop background if you'll say it's okay. By the way, I saw Karen and Jeff yesterday at the Heritage Roses Northwest meeting and they were so pleased to have been able to see your garden last fall. I think they're heading in your direction again soon, probably hoping to catch your spring flush. I wish I could take a walk through your garden but for now will be happy with a vicarious visit. I have about 20 different varities and pot them all. They do amazing. First I take some 100% silicone caulk and seal any hole in the pot no matter the size the pot to retain all water. For extreemly large pots I fill the bottom half with empty milk jugs, pop bottles or turn another pot upside down inside to take up space. I mix fresh potting soil with some time release fertalizer, and manure, fill the pot and plant in full sun. I then give a good watering and as soon as the canna sprout up a couple inches I fill the pot with standing water. I keep standing water all year long and fertalize with a diluted 20-20-20 every 1-2 weeks. I have had the most amazing success. All have multipled beyond my expectations, flowers were amazing and I have more seed than I know what to do with. Never had a problem with a single variety or lost one. Grancru

Mantis;No I don't remember the name OF the clematis.I lost the original plant a few years ago, but had started this one from seed from it, but the tag had been missing for several years. KAY,I had the worse time trying to get these pictures in photobucket.i bet I tried to upload them 20 times and it just wouldn't work for me,so I finally tried that other way of slide them and drop them in the proper place, didn't think that would work either, but it did.If its going to be that much of a problem to upload photos to photobucket,I probably wont be posting many photos. BH - now at THAT price, why wouldn't you scoop up one of those tables for your coffee table? They look like they'd be perfect cut down. CP, that love seat is adorable! I just love the old one in my office, that started out rust and ivory big checks from 'Country Farm Furniture', I don't know how many years ago. The small size is perfect, and it looks to be the size of yours. Great job re-doing it! Update - my sister scoffed up the 'all leather' chair above faster than you can imagine. It's in her bedroom already where I hear it looks great. My mother wants the other one, but I told her I'd find her another chair for her bedroom! It'll be the payment for the next time she has to baby sit my dogs when I travel for work.
