Don't forget Survivor tonight
Comments (23)"So, after they come back from Idol Island, are they not allowed to tell the group they have met Rob and Sandra?" It's up to the player to decide what to reveal. This is discussed in one of the articles that last week's recap links to. It's interesting, to me, that both women who have been to Idol Island have told a story about there being urns. Those women are from different tribes, so they certainly haven't had a chance to discuss and agree that the second woman would say the same thing the first woman had said. I'm curious as to what will happen next week when whomever goes to Idol Island returns to their tribe. Since the next person to go will be from the same tribe as Elizabeth (the first one to go), they may get together and discuss. Then again, though, they probably won't have a chance. But, obviously, the more folks that go, the more everyone will know the truth about meeting with Sandra and Rob....See MoreDon't forget Survivor!
Comments (18)Kellee gave her idol to Dean and made him promise to vote for Jack. Then she voted for Dean so she could honestly say she did. She’s very clever, I hope she finds another idol. I’m wondering what next week’s social justice lesson will be or are they done now? LOL I’m petty, I like it better when they really argue. I think it was clever of Kellee to put Jamal on defense like that. Not that it hurt him any, but that whole fire making thing at camp would have ticked me off, too....See MoreDon't forget Survivor - finale next week!
Comments (35)"I hope to God that next season is just Survivor without them trying to bring in all this ridiculous drama." Is this a serious comment? I can't stomach the show and leave the room when my wife is watching but I've seen enough snippets over the years to understand its thrust and posturing for its audience. Be real. What this show is about is voyeurism concerning manufactured and phony situational drama. That's about 95% of what's going on. Other so-called "reality" shows are the same. The drama is front and center, there's nothing else to the show. You can be sure that even those among the production staff who seriously found the guy's behavior to have crossed the line, were delighted that a new and unexpected plot element got introduced to the show. They don't care who wins and who doesn't, they want things to happen to engage the audience to react. A bad reaction is as acceptable as a good one....See More12/1 Don't forget Survivor!
Comments (12)Why not respect it on the show too? Diversity is the direction the network has decided to take. I think Jeff explained it well and why it is relevant to the real world. The show is a microcosm of society where people of a common race, culture or religion do band together. There have been many seasons where people banded together because of age or gender. Did it bother you when there were all girl or all boy alliances? Shan bonded with Ricard, a gay white male, first. She found common ground with Liana because of their gender, race, and love for their mothers. Notice how often the black players are the first to be voted off and now Shan, Liana, and Deshawn are being targeted. But not Ricard. The white players could've voted off Ricard, the biggest threat, but Xander said he trusted him more than Liana. This is the same Ricard who whispered to him "Play your idol." I think they just gave him the million bucks....See Moreravencajun Zone 8b TX
