Yippee! I'm ready! There's always someone who starts out the first episode as bossy, knowing everything, telling everyone what to do. Notice how long people like that usually last? ;-) Either that person or the pollyanna who insists on singing or having an annoying laugh or something like that.

It's my favorite show, I follow the races and the discussions on a travel forum; but couldn't help stickin' my head in here. As I said to posters on the other forum, I thought I knew who was going to win, but when that van turned into the driveway I wasn't sure! Is it going to be the boys or Meghan and Cheyne???? Very exciting, and I admit I had some tears in my eyes. bigack - I agree, Wayne Newton looks nothing like I remember him. Why didn't he just age gracefully, or maybe it wasn't a pretty site. But then again, he DID look weird tonight.

Why not respect it on the show too? Diversity is the direction the network has decided to take. I think Jeff explained it well and why it is relevant to the real world. The show is a microcosm of society where people of a common race, culture or religion do band together. There have been many seasons where people banded together because of age or gender. Did it bother you when there were all girl or all boy alliances? Shan bonded with Ricard, a gay white male, first. She found common ground with Liana because of their gender, race, and love for their mothers. Notice how often the black players are the first to be voted off and now Shan, Liana, and Deshawn are being targeted. But not Ricard. The white players could've voted off Ricard, the biggest threat, but Xander said he trusted him more than Liana. This is the same Ricard who whispered to him "Play your idol." I think they just gave him the million bucks.

That was crazy! Why give up your immunity idol & trust anyone near the end? Gabler is the only one who doesn't "need" the money....but....he's smart and playing a really good game. Jesse may "need" the money, for his family...but that is too villian for the jury to back him. Karla is playing hard. I watched Amazing Race. I usually fall asleep, so I've missed a lot of it. That was a good WIN!
