3/4' thick vanity top choices help needed
Comments (5)I just found out on another thread that the Pegasus tempered glass top is not a good option. They both show scratches pretty badly. Comments (6)kausd--I guess I can't picture what you are referring to. brian--So to get this straight, the 1/4" or whatever of plywood would be under the stone. And, there wouldn't be a visible gap underneath because the counter overhang would conceal this. Correct? gr8day--So shims might be somewhat similar to what Brian is suggesting. And, it is good to hear that the pencil tile solution looks good in person. Thanks all!...See MoreBaseboards installed 3/4 inch above floor. Problem?
Comments (4)I agree with the previous responses - your carpet might work with a 3/4 gap. If not, try placing a strip of 1/4 inch plywood under the baseboard to reduce the gap to 1/2 inch....See MoreWindow and door trim width to compliment 4 1/4" baseboards?
Comments (8)Too narrow. Pictures would help. But I like a simple 1 x6 ( = 5 3/4 ) base, no shoe if possible and at lease 3 1/4 or four inch window casing. Too many unanswered questions here, Window style......door style...... pics of interior etc A "traditional 1980 ranch at the lake" can be a LOT of things...See Morerwiegand
