Comments (3)Ruellia ( Mexican Petunia )...Does it have purple or pink flowers that are very thin and delicate and tubular in shape? Can you see small nodules near the nodes or sections of the stem? If so then you def have a Ruellia. which by the way you can share or propagate by cutting at the stem nodes and sticking in dirt. :) Cheers...See Morehelp to identify this shrub/plant/hedge

The garden was established when we bought the place so I'm slowly learning whats's what. I think it definitely has spider mites thanks for the link I will work on getting rid of them....See MoreCan someone identify this plant?
Comments (3)Well my best guess is Stachys byzantina which has a common name of "Lamb's ears" or "Lamb's tongue". It is a groundcover, a perennial, with silvery grey leaves which have a woolly, velvet feel. You should be able to find it in a nursery or the garden section of, say, Bunnings, where it is often sold as a 6-pack perennial. If I'm wrong, it's such a charming little plant she'll probably enjoy it anyway and love you more for your efforts. Here is a link that might be useful: lambs ears...See MoreIris S (SC, Zone 7b)
