help with glass tile discoloration problem

We had a general contractor install a glass backsplash and we now see we should have hired a more experienced tiler. The tile is discolored along the corners and edges of the backsplash. During the cutting process, the paint behind the translucent tile chipped and it shows through the installed tile. The spec sheet for the Astoria tile (Sonoma Tilemakers) reads: "Small imperfections (lines, dots, wrinkles) in the backing may be present and can be visible once installed. It may also be possible to “see through” the clear glass on certain angles which can appear as a line along the edges of the glass. These are all natural characteristics of Astoria and do not affect the integrity of the tile."

My question: What are the options for addressing this? Live with it as an expected imperfection and appreciate the lesson learned? Install a new corner/edge piece to cover the mistake (Astoria makes 1/4" x 12" tiles used for edging)? Remove the offending tiles and replace them? We like the overall look but up close the error is very noticeable. Your advice is much appreciated!
