Can I cut back my Alocasia Zebrina?

Hi guys. This plant really stresses me out. I’m not sure I’m caring for it the right way but it doesn’t seem to be dying. It’s very large so I can’t really have it in front of any windows because it blocks the light for all my other plants. It’s very droopy and doesn’t look the greatest. I can bring myself to give it away or anything. Any tips so I can make this plant more appealing for my interior? I know it likes humidity so I bought it its own personal humidifier. I’d like to hopefully cut it back so it starts growing at a smaller scale. I would have no idea how to do this. Please help!! The pics I posted show how droopy it is and some yellowing on the leaves. I just had it in the shower, which I heard they enjoy. Thanks for your time!
