Where to Buy Curtains Online?

Someone here recommended Country Curtains when I asked many years ago. Now they have gone out of business, so where can one find a nice selection to choose from? I find the choices at Bed, Bath and Beyond quite limited.

Buyer beware when it comes to ordering Coswick floors!! If you expect your order to look like the website photos, the photos the vendors & factory send you, and samples, then don't hold your breath! We got a completely DIFFERENT look! After delivering a floor that doesn’t meet the specifications, the company wasted 2+ weeks and failed to provide any resolution to the issue. Meanwhile, we are paying for construction delays and don't know what to tell our vendors. Don't purchase from Coswick or from their US distributor, Doma Source, receiving floors in the wrong color made with a cheaper grade of wood than what they sold you.

I used Scherr's. It's been two years. I'm still delighted. I want to do another kitchen. That's kind of sick, I know. I did want to comment about the assembly process. Each manufacturer uses a different assembly technique. While I can only speak to the Scherr's process, I have to say it is one stout cabinet. They don't use clips as illustrated above. I think they are much more solid that some of the standard custom cabinets I have used in the past. The bottom line is each company stands on their own merits. I like Scherr's because of the quality of the product, they are manufactured in North Dakota and the outstanding customer service. If you have a problem, you get a real person to help solve it. I have read numerous posts that indicated Barker's produces a good product. Their customer service is involves a lot of email. I like the telephone method myself. Conestoga is another domestic manufacturer of RTA frameless cabinets. With these companies, you can be assured the materials meet acceptable health standards, too.

Arid Lands Greenhouses. They're pros but not really bigbox-ey. I think I've used up their online catalogue by now (of plants I like, that is). They propagate their own starters and I'm pretty sure they do not sell habitat-collected specimen. I have received nothing but healthy and disease-free plants so far. If you are outside the US, they will ship agaves and other plants with the appropriate phytosanitary certificate so you know your imports will not be carrying pathogens that could wipe out your local agri. And they have CITES permit for most of their CITES plants.

I've bought curtains from Kohls and Boscov's. .Got really nice ones from Ross but that's hit or miss, just what they have when you are there that day.

The problem that I ran into with the store bought curtains is that there can be a difference in the length of the panels. Many are not made exactly to the measurement on the package and in my case with the panels I got (from JCP) the variance was quite significant. When I complained to a manager, her response was anything within a 6 inch difference was acceptable and not considered to be “flawed”. Not helpful at all.

Just my opinion but when you have a four inch difference in the hem of two panels side by side to each other, that’s flawed. 8 panels and no two were the same length. I ended up having to get them in a longer length and pay to have them hemmed just so they’d hang evenly,...cha ching!

What I didn’t know at the time is that another alternative is to go with one of the shops on Etsy. With some of them, if they don’t have a fabric or design you like posted, they will work with you. I ended up doing that with our kitchen & dining room valences. I had a fabric I really loved shipped to them direct. I got them two weeks later, lined, pressed and ready to hang. I was stunned at the craftmanship and how beautiful they turned out.

This is the shop I went with mainly because they offer custom work, when we decide to change the drapes I got from JCP, I will be using this shop again.
