Comments (9)I'm just swamped with work and staying up late right now. I used my little time off to run over there and see what was happening. It's tricky because LA traffic is very bad and the Huntington is open 10-4. It takes me an hour with no traffic so I have to hurry down as soon as the worst is over and hurry back before it starts again. But it's completely worth it. Tom C. was there and he said he was happy with it. He's a modest man. I mean it couldn't be more perfect than it is right now. Everywhere you look is roses at the top of their game. They got lucky when he said he would take care of that garden. I can't believe how transformed it is. I was wondering too if it amazes him and he gets caught up in the spring excitement we all get looking at our roses. Or if he's looking at it with a critical eye evaluating the progress Or if he's thinking about some tv or magazine shoot that might be coming Or if he's making decisions for next year or thinking about Huntington related matters. I hope he's happy like a kid on Christmas enjoying it all. I used to feel like that at Disneyland. Working hard and enjoying the fun we made for others while being happy seeing them enjoy it all. He's so kind, talking to guests about roses. They don't realize they have a prince of roses in front of them. I couldn't take a fine garden and turn it into a masterpiece. The plants are the same plants but now after a few years completely transformed into Olympians. What an achievement by him and his group of great gardeners. Congratulations all!...See Morejerome
