Unglazed porcelain tile for new mud room?

We are turning a formerly wasted space between house entry and garage into a mudroom and are looking for tile for that space. I brought some samples home (all porcelain) the one my husband likes the most is unglazed. It has a 5 wear rating and I like it too, but I’m concerned with upkeep. We live in New England so weather is all over the place and we will be coming in with wet, sometimes muddy/snowy/salt covered shoes. We will go with the darkest grout possible to try and avoid the issue of keeping up with light grout staining, but what about cleaning the tile itself? Is unglazed porcelain tile more difficult to clean and keep looking clean than glazed?
