do you have a kitchen floor plan? Where is the pantry door relative to the cabinets and other doors on the first floor?

my initial reaction is going with a standard height painted white pantry door, If all the other doors are 8’ and stained. Especially if the cabinets are painted the same white.

walk in pantry door is on the same wall/next to the kitchen cabinets. and about 12 feet from one of the other doors.

also, is it a considered in bad taste to do oil rubbed bronze around the house, and then have chrome fixtures and knobs in the kitchen. if i did that would do chrome hinges knob on the walk in pantry door too.

You can do a white hinge on a white door and it blends in.

IMO pantry doors should be the same color as kitchen cabinets they are a kitchen cabinet as for height it is best to see the plan for the cabinets.

that was my plan, paint it the same exact white as the kitchen cabinets.

here is the two options. done with photoshopping in the cabinets that will go there (refinished professionally in white) and the pantry we are getting.

the gray wall is to scale of a 10' ceiling as it is.

if we go with the 8' door, maybe we can hang all the cabinets in line so the crown matches the top casing molding around the door. then would just have a 24 above counter space instead of the normal 18 on the other walls in the kitchen. (althought this is across the kitchen) see full layout.
