Houzz will not let me post to threads

OK, so it'll let me start this thread, but when I try to post on a discussion, I get a shaded box and no way to post. Any suggestions before I contact "support"?

Nope, I could log in and I can make a new post, as evidenced by this one. I do log in directly to the GardenWeb/Cooking Forum site, via a bookmark.

I logged out, logged back in, changed my password, rebooted my computer, nothing worked. I left to take Mother to a doctor's appointment, did the farm chores, finished the dishes and the laundry, and just sat down to try again because I got a message from Houzz support asking me to provide a clickable link. And now, suddenly, it works just fine.

Gremlins, I'm telling you!

Annie - No problem here and no ideas to help as I've never experienced that particular problem on Houzz. Good luck!

Try logging out and then back on again.

Sometimes I run into that. If you are posting a follow-up right after posting to the same thread sometimes it will have a message at the top of the page indicating you can use that "link" to post a follow up.

Ok, I'm switching it up again. The name of this game is, Can you beat this? I was looking at glass cabinet door pics and this one comes up. I was so struck by these doors, I have never seen anything quite like these. Very unique. So with that, my eyes start taking in the rest of the pic, and then, I came to it. A GIANT bug, right there in the middle under the cabs. Why??? Who puts giant bugs in their kitchen? Looks like a, I dunno, beetle? tic?? Gross. LOL So, can you beat this? :)

Hmm, I notice that only through my phone which I think directs to Houzz directly? I do still have "shop Houzz" stuff at the bottom though. On my computer I am still using my old GW link which directs me here but the address bar says: ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/3458514/after-posting-in-a-thread-cursor... After reading this Linelle I am definitely keeping my old GW back door entry - I have both kitchens and building a home bookmarked that way. I don't need to see all that stuff. When I come here it's because I want to be HERE browsing GW discussions not houzz pics.

Happened to me a few times. The post frame went shady light in color as well as the 'submit' button. Most often when I have added a pic.

Other forums are having similar issues.

I never use the houzz.com site - I always use the gardenweb.com/discussions/ site, and that works better for me.

Nah. When that happens you just can't even get to a page to read it, or log in at all, depending. It sounds like more general houzzery--things have been goofier than ever lately as they add on more and more cookie-type stuff under the hood.
