The closest help to a 'Property Brothers' company will be a real estate/designer type company. You do realize that(and other shows similar) are collaborations. Magnolia Homes(the company the Gaines own on Fixer Upper) is more the kind of company you want. Most real estate agents are trained in selling properties. It takes a designer/architect person to come up with ideas. However, most architects are better at coming up with plans for buildings or building additions than remodeling several rooms. The designer and contractor can accomplish most of the remodeling jobs quite well. Maybe use remodeling designers.

Thankyou all! Keep the ideas coming. I love all the ideas so far. You are all right on the same page with what I"m thinking. So far, I'm also thinking wood, something rustic, but DH seems to like white (but I keep thinking, what does he know? LOL) In fact my first thought was wood . The floors are so light that I think white cabinets might not make it. The picture attached...a little too fancy for the cabinets, but it plays well with the lighter floor. I like that. Yeah, the wall color. It's some funky paint that is all through the main living areas of the house and it looks totally different in each room. Its not bad in the living areas, it reads a lot more beige, but it just reads peach in the kitchen and the cabinets are painted slightly offwhite, with a pink undertone and the whole thing just looks bad. I might make DH paint pronto just so it looks a little better. The island shape. YES, I hate it too. HATE. We haven't moved in yet, but I'm almost hoping that there's a box of leftover tile somewhere in the garage, in which case, then yeah, that sucker is getting changed. I'm trying to figure out a good way to square it though. There is plenty of room behind it (pictures don't really show it well) and I truly hate multilevel islands. I'd also love to do a different color on the island cabs, but dh isn't into that. :(

Thanks, Old Forester! I thought #7 was a catbird given the color (and I could hear a few in the park ). I hadn't see a mockingbird this year in DC till this one. #5, 6, 9 were all foraging on the ground and there were several of them in mixed flocks with the mourning doves. The beaks of all three and the colors on 5 - I was hoping they were some kind of grosbeaks. Thanks again!
