Comments (43)HI Dhanu, I really admire your inspiration and determination to grow Parijata. I have planted 3 saplings about 15 days back in big pots and really hoping to see Parijata flowers one day! when will that day come? what care should I give them? Any spl fertilizer to be used? Your tips are greatly appreciated Please help me. How long does it take for Parijata to grow and start flowering? Eagerly waiting for your reply...See MoreCalling sultry jasmine nights !
Comments (47)Oh my gosh you guys are too sweet! So very sorry I haven't posted in so long. I really missed everybody. I am fine! Just very very busy right now. My dh and I are both in healthcare and it has been sporadically busy only because our area has not been hit that hard with Covid19 as much as some other parts of the country. Yet! Many of the elective surgeries were cancelled with the state shutdowns so of course, that made some areas of hospitals & out patient clinics & surgical centers slow but they are starting all that back up again as they have been opening back up the city businesses etc..I guess we will know in a few weeks, or sooner, if it was too soon to re-open everything lol. I'm thinking it is too soon :/ Anyways, on the homefront, we have a ton of farm projects going on right now, along with the usual spring planting, blooming, & weeding etc. I have 13 baby turkeys (poults)🐣 being shipped to me this week and baby goats 🐐arriving mid June once they are weaned from their moms. We will be getting a few other farm animals coming too but I will post about it later lol. It will be a surprise 🤣 So, we have this old barn metal building that we have just been using for storage and now we are building little goat stalls inside and some shelves over them for hay storage etc. to get it ready for the goats. We put in four 4ft Wx8ft Lx 18in H raised vegetable beds in earlier this spring and I had to totally revise the whole fenced-in garden area to get everything to fit. Its still kind of a mess but it gets a little better every week. I have a crazy duck who is wanting to hatch eggs and she has 3 infertile eggs that she's been sitting on & guarding for 3 wks and about takes a hand off anyone who gets near her lol. Our 3 female ducks lost their male last year so I decided to order fertile duck eggs lol. They should be here in a few days so I will have to sneak them under her and pray she stays on them. I do not want to have to raise them myself with the turkey babies lol. Roses...so many roses are blooming and I barely have had time to enjoy them or take any photos. I need to get out there with my camera or I will regret it when it gets so hot everything shuts down and we get into our rainy season. ~Sjn...See MoreHalloBlondie (zone5a) Ontario, Canada
