There are two methods to send leaves. The easiest is not to wrap it at all, just put it in a plastic bag and blow in the bag so the plastic doesn't touch the leaf which may cause rotting. This is good for short distances. The other method is as stated above: wet a bit of Kleenex put it on the end of the leaf and cover with Handi-wrap to keep it secure. Place in bag and blow air to keep plastic from rotting leaf. Leaves may also be taped onto styrofoam meat container trays, the small ones. (Leaf ends may be wrapped or not) Then the whole thing can be placed in a plastic sack and sent. Nancy

Well, I am quite sure now I have at least 1 (one) pound of worms, of all sizes. Since they are in the first rubbermaid 10 gallon tote I made into a bin, and I think from what I am reading here in this group I can probably get about 3 pounds of worms in here, (each tote is about 14"X18"X12")there is still room for them to grow. I have the second tote ready to fix up for a flow thru, and think I will leave it at that, if at all possible, harvesting and giving away worms as necessary. This would give me approximately five pounds of worms, which would handle the 2-3 pounds of kitchen waste we produce, and give a nice buzz to the garden in terms of vermicompost. Having said that, I did put in four of the worms I found wandering about into a bucket where I had planted squash and watermelon seeds for the summer. One of the squashes, possibly a pumpkin, is now about two feet in the air, straight up! ??? But this was the potato bin I had made up with layers of leaf litter and good potting soil. I figure the four worms I put in there may multiply just fine, and mix up the soil pretty well for the squashes. I was reading with interest about the phenomenal rate of both consumption and production a flow-thru produces, possibly due to the increased air flow. I think this is pretty good information, and I think I will put my flow thru into service earlier in the summer than I had previously considered. I still have about a third of my leaf litter in there from January, when I replenished the bin, and got in and stirred that up, but do believe I will be harvesting compost by July or August anyway. However, by increasing my worm count and composting rate earlier, I will most likely have a good system in place by wintertime, when I have to bring it into the house for protection. AND by bringing it into a higher rate of consumption earlier, I can hope to realize a 2 pound rate of recycling per week. gmw1

I am a Man and personally I find Unattractive and somewhat disgusting (my personal opinion) for women to wear slips specially if it can be seeing on a skirt slit or on the lower portion of the skirt, it makes me get away from that woman. So this is what I donÂt get why women are so worried of legs outline while wearing a skirt when they wear Pants and SHORTS, isnÂt that more revealing????? I totally donÂt understand that but I guess because I am a Man thatÂs why. Now on the picture shown above of the lady in the garden what is wrong with it? If that is what women are concerned about then WHY wear Sheer Skirts and Dresses????? That Picture posted is artistic and beautiful, and as for my point of view All women who donÂt wear slips and happen to somewhat see the legs outline are beautiful. Yes I repeat, in my opinion women who donÂt wear slip are Beautiful. I DON'T like it when Women/Girls wearing SLIPS at all, to me it is Disgusting and I feel nauseas when I see that. My mother wears them and I have a very difficult time talking and or dealing with her when she wears them, I told her this but she doesnÂt get it, it is very difficult for me to give her a hug and a kiss because of that I am being 100% honest, maybe I need some help but thatÂs the way I feel since I was 11 or 12 year old. I wish those things (slips) NEVER Existed. A Woman who donÂt wear slips to me is the Perfect Woman and this has nothing to do with anything sexual to be very Clear about this subject. The fact that I forgot to write a review of this film probably tells you that it is not a four-star film(thanks, Lynn, for the nudge).But I do think it is very good, and it mattered a lot to me personally. Everyone knows the story of the Bobby Riggs/Billy Jean King tennis match and that she beat the living daylights out of him. I almost didn't see the film because what can it tell me that I don't already know? A lot, actually. The setting is 1973, the beginnings of the women's movement of that period, and right around the time that I started college at the age of 40. So much of what was going on in the film, especially the Virginia Slims backing of Billy Jean and her team and also BJK's struggle to get better pay for women tennis players, was really exhilarating because the changes were woven into my own life. But what I did not epect was the delving into the personal lives of BR and BJK, their spouses and lovers, their personal struggles. Steve Carrell's Bobby Riggs is so over the top but as I recall, Bobby Riggs really was nearly nutso with all his antics, costumes, claims, promises, etc. But I hadn't known he had a serious gambling problem and all that kept him able to stay afloat was a very wealthy wife. Carrell chews enough scenery to nearly turn his role into a farce, but grounds it enough to make Riggs's insecurities plain. That's an interesting relationship but more complicated was BJK's marriage to Larry King. I knew that she is a lesbian, I knew she had been married to a man, but I didn't know the details. Emma Stone brings Billy Jean's growing awareness of her homosexuality into view, with all the second-guessing, indecision, fear for her career that would have marked such a journey in 1973. Stone's face registers a wide-ranging emotional register--she is just so good. Her gradual understanding of her sexual desires is energizing to watch unfold. You want to cheer for her. Oh, and there's a tennis match in the film, too. Pretty anti-climactic when it finally arrives. So while the film is not great, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.
